Norway Day 3

Not another bloody waterfall or fiord. We hiked some 7.5 km to the base of the glacier straight in of you in the picture below. 
As we approached. A deep rumble developed and we witnessed a glacial (ice) avalanche- different from the snow version, it was explained 

Still in black and after several days still smelling like a rose

  1. Yes, if you hadn’t told me you were in Norway I would probably have assumed it was Iceland still! What are you finding the significant differences between countries? >

    • Surely you jest? I accept glaciers are common, but much more mountainous and alpine trees and vegetation. It is a little “same, same” but different and worthy of a visit to both and the fiords are of course unique
